DeLata is a small business rooted in purpose, created to support and empower women in Colombia.

It is a trading social enterprise built on the belief that beauty, sustainability and humanity can come together. Our powerhouse team of single mothers in Colombia, many of whom come from incredibly humble backgrounds or have survived domestic abuse, hand-crochet each tab with precision, love, and skill. Piece by piece, they turn what was once trash into wearable art.

Each product can take anywhere from 20 to 40 hours to complete, depending on the complexity. And this doesn't include the time it takes to source and prepare the materials. You're not just buying a bag - you're honouring a process.

Through handcrafted pieces made from recycled materials, DeLata creates more than accessories. It creates opportunity, hope and real change.

Unique by nature, sustainable by choice

Every Rice & Carry Product tells its own story. Maybe it was made from an old rice bag found on a buzzing Sri Lankan market. Or from a Fishing Rope found on the shores.

Rice & Carry has been making upcycled accessories since 2012. Today, we upcycle more than 60,000 rice bags and spice sacks, and 120,000 plastic bottles per year and employ 50 women from rural villages for fair wages.

All our products are unique and handmade by one of our female artisans in the rural village Komari, on Sri Lanka's East coast.

Providing an opportunity for Freedom

At The Loyal Workshop,we believe that business can be a tool to bring freedom to those trapped in slavery. Modern day slavery is a phenomenon that we are not prepared to be apathetic about. Our business IS about freedom.

Our artisans are women from backgrounds of poverty, each with their own story of trauma and oppression. They craft quality, ethical leather goods in the heart of Kolkata, with every product created a part of their freedom journey.
